The SALVATORE Journey

SALVATORE was born from a deep passion for authentic Italian cuisine and a desire to elevate the pizza experience to new heights of refinement. Our founder, Marco Salvatore, grew up in a small village outside Naples where his grandfather operated one of the town's beloved pizzerias. From a young age, Marco was immersed in the traditions and techniques of Neapolitan pizza making, spending countless hours observing the careful preparation of dough, the selection of quality ingredients, and the precise movements required to work with a wood-fired oven.

After years of training in Italy's finest restaurants and studying under renowned pizza masters, Marco moved to Canada with a vision: to create a space where the time-honored traditions of Italian pizza making could meet contemporary design and innovative culinary techniques. In 2009, SALVATORE opened its doors, introducing Canadians to a new concept in Italian dining—the pizza atelier.

What began as a small, intimate establishment has grown into a celebrated culinary destination, but our core values remain unchanged. We continue to handcraft each pizza with the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence that defined our beginnings. Every ingredient is thoughtfully sourced, every technique meticulously executed, and every presentation carefully considered.
